Dr. Heche will be speaking at all services, sharing her own journey of transformation. After she learned of her husband’s (and later her daughter’s) homosexuality, God took her “from a place of fear and anger and confusion…to a place of love and respect.”. She urges the church to “change its voice toward the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community” and shares how to respond lovingly and appropriately to those who are family and friends. Nancy’s story demonstrates how God’s presence and power offer hope and encouragement to all who face disappointment and difficulty.
