The Gospel of Luke is rich with stories of how Jesus encountered people with compassion. For many of these people, the way Jesus treated them stood in stark contrast to how society treated them. In Luke, it’s clear that Jesus loved the fringe element, he touched the untouchable, he brought near those who are alienated, he lectured the lecturers, and he washed clean the dirtiest criminals.
Luke introduces us again to Jesus. Through his encounters with those for whom society would have alienated, Jesus revealed his compassionate character and purpose for his time here on earth. They were recorded by Luke so that we might know more fully the heart and character of our Savior Jesus Christ

These options for Bible study provide in-depth Bible study materials that require individual study outside the teaching and small group time. These materials are written so that they can be engaged in whether you've been a Christ follower for many years or are just starting out in your spiritual journey. The study gives a guide for digging directly into the Scripture and provides study notes that aid in individual and group study.
Care Group Study
Study materials adapted especially for Care Groups!
This year we have taken our in-depth Bible study and turned it into Care Group materials that fit a typical Care Group schedule (two studies a month). The studies require no outside homework and can be done together as a group.
